Learning new things, make you improve yourself

Now a days, it's common to see some people that have a lot of time working on the same spot, job and activity. Those people that have gotten in a comfortable zone most of the time feel their life it's monotonous. That it's something pretty hard and dangerous because they tend to avoid changing or learning new things. I consider that it's important to always think outside the box. Nevertheless, it's also important to recognize when the comforting zone, it's reaching you.

The reality is that,  learning new activities is part of the progress of a person. Sometime it's difficult but not impossible. Actually, I should say that part of the success at a specific matter, is focusing on the objectives one by one. By experience, when you try to do a lot of activities at the same time, most of the time, you can not become an expert in one of them because you can not concentrate in little details.

So, besides your wishes on learning, you have to set some priorities in order to get to know what you want. There's a famous theory that says "Divide and conquer", it means setting you big goals, in a little objectives and doing it one by one. That's a statement well known in the developers environment. To be frank, you can use that theory also in you life. When people do, what they have to in a organized way, everything turns easier.

Also be objective, you have to know your abilities.  If you know that you're good at writing and you want to write a book, that's more believable than if you know you're bad at writing a paragraph and you want to write a book, be realistic!. Keep your feet in the ground not in the moon. On the other hand, Make a list and set an order. Doing a list help you to remember what you said you wanted. And it's also important to put it a time of completion.  Like that, you 'll feel that there is a period of time where you want to do every item of the list.

Finally, just try to always learn something new in order to maintain yourself updated because it makes your brain functioning better.
