In life you have to share with somebody your emotions. If you feel that there's no body in the world in whom you may trust for something, I think, you probably feel awful. The worst feeling that you can have is taking all of what is in your mind, making your life good or bad, just for you. Nevertheless, it's true that you need a shoulder to rely on when you are going through a hard time but is also true that is better to be alone than being with bad people surrounding you.
There is a phrase here is my country that says "Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are". I consider that is a deep statement because all of what it means, it's pretty important in life. Lately, after reading and listening many positive, inspirational quotes of people, such as "Tania Baez and her daughters in a radio program called "Las hijas de su madre"", I 've learn how to distinguish a positive friendship from a negative one.
I used to get together with people that are so negative, even though they have reached many important goals in their life. One of those people, is a good friend. But because of her attitude to life, I decided not to go out so often with her because every time we agreed to meet in a place, that person almost always, did something that made me feel like not important and when we finished our meeting I was just angry and with negative feelings inside me.
Besides that she was just pointing out just bad things when we had a meeting and not respecting my personal limits. So, Today I 'm still her friend but I learned how to deal with her personality.The first times I got angry and tell her the things that didn't like me in that moment but after a few occasions, when I noticed that there was no change by her, I gave up. I just talk by whatsapp and get in touch once in a while by phone and so on. The point is that I decided to avoid the things that makes me feel bad.
Sometime we think that we have friends but what we have is a person that have nothing positive to share with us. You have to decide your limits and must respect your own limits. Chose friends, that have always something positive to share and in the bad moments, try to overcome the situation, fight for the things you want no matter how many times you fell down in the process the important part is to get up with more power, people that encourage you to do big things, to enjoy your life and find new experiences. Make a wise choice now!! Look at the people around you, you are a mirror of the ones next to you.
